Think about this, won’t you? Father’s actions were deliberate and intentional. Man was not created in the Garden, but rather was placed there, within It deliberately. The word “placed” here (Hebrew: “soom”) is connected to “being at rest.”
We see this word many times in the Older Testament, as in Exodus 33:22 when Yahweh is addressing Moses: “and while My glory passes by I will *place* you in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover you with My hand until I have passed by.”
If we were to follow the accounts of Yahweh “placing” men where He wants them to be, although some are found faithful, many times men do not do their part to *remain* there (when given the opportunity.) So, what about us?
Our mighty Elohim will many times perform the necessary action to place us where He wants us to be. But as we see in the Garden, at the origin of all things, the pattern of humanity is exploiting where Yahweh places them. The result? Yahweh “drove the man out” of the Garden that He had planted for him to inhabit and keep. Man’s location literally changed. Because of rebellion and transgression, he was removed from where Father had *placed* him. (There is so much more to this as this is the first instance that man did not show up for Father’s Appointed Time. Genesis 3:9)
I don’t know about you, but I have a lengthy list of times throughout my life where I can look back and see Father’s hand working on my behalf. Many times He had *placed* me. Too often I did not respect His work and neglected my part to continue remaining there. Have you also seen this in your own life? Father will place us. He will surely give us opportunity. Let us be faithful once we’re there – to find out why, and then be found obedient to do our part.
Why? So that we can be found establishing His wonderful ways upon the earth, as they are in Heaven. Selah.
