Who Are We?

In order to properly understand and apply letters, within the Bible, we absolutely must know their context. Who are they written to? What are their purpose? Who wrote them and why?
In today’s verse, this principle shines bright! We must know what James was addressing and who he was speaking to, in order to properly receive what is presented. It is not up for personal revelation nor application. We must immerse ourselves into the context that the biblical authors were within and study in order to discover what they were really saying, free from our inherited Christian mindset. This letter, specifically, has many layers of context that most of us will never know. Thereby, our ignorance of truly understanding who it is addressed to will posture us to entirely miss every line that follows. Let us study, friends. Let us first take the necessary time to understand context and conditions before embarking to read letters that we really know little to nothing about. The entire Word is about a One Man People. One Law. One King. One Kingdom. Father will gather all of His scattered Ones, from the corners of the earth, under the banner of Messiah Yeshua. No Jew. No Greek. No Gentile. No Christian. Do you know this, friend? Dig deep and find Father’s wonderful ways today!

There are no more tribes. God's people are now the Catholic church who was given the apostolic authority to pass that right onto the Protestant church. We are in an entirely different dispensation now. The Jews missed the Christ. We see this with Paul leaving behind all Judaism and converting.
