Do We Need to Purify Ourselves AFTER Messiah Came?

 

Nearly every day I hear or read of some statement insinuating how great it is now for us, “in Jesus” to not have to do anything but “bask in the gift of grace.” There’s no need to purify ourselves. No need to become holy as the Most High is holy. No need to be cleansed… like “all those poor old Jews had to ‘work’ to do.” But what does the Bible say?

Be found humble and willing to yield to the Word, friends. Man-made doctrines and mishandled theology continues to ignore the endless instructions we’ve been given on how we’re to become a set apart, holy People unto Yahweh.
