Walking The Narrow Way

Let’s keep reading: “He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed Torah in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in Elohim and not forget the works of Elohim, but keep His commandments; and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to Elohim.” (5-8)

I would never have imagined how ostracizing and polarizing attempting to literally live out Scriptures like this would be. The pursuit of training ourselves and our children to walk in Father’s wonderful Ways is somehow viewed as cultish bondage by so many people that I love. The cost is surely great, but we will continue to move ahead declaring that Father’s Ways endure throughout all generations!

As we stood at the crossroads, we looked for and chose to walk out the good, ancient Way (Jer. 6:16). Here, we are finding rest for our souls, just like the Word promises. Thankfully, there are many others here, walking along this way as well. We never knew. No one had ever told us. Holy Spirit led us to join in with David and declare,

“The Torah of Yahweh is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever; the rules of Yahweh are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is Your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.” (Psalm 19:7-11)

If you are also one that is asking tough questions and casting aside all of the lies that you have inherited (even the ones that you love and value.) Stay the course! Question everything. Look to the Word *first* to define your standards and establish your foundation. All else must come *after* this. Be careful that you do not only look to the Bible to simply affirm what you already believe.

We will no longer hide Father's wondrous ways from our children! A remnant is returning (teshuvah!) Be encouraged!
