Provision

While many self-proclaimed prophets and preachers will twist and defile what provision from our Father means. I think it would do us well to properly return to defining this properly.

Here, as with many instances in the Bible, Father provides what is necessary for the work at hand, that He desires to accomplish. Here, the Son instructs His taught ones to, quite specifically, go out and get a colt. And He even goes as far as telling them what they will need to speak, when someone responds to this odd action.

In this case, His students do well! But the purpose of the instruction, as well as their following it, was not to their own glory (and perhaps was even a bit awkward). The provision that Yeshua informed them of was for the Father’s glory, not theirs. It was to be used as a component of demonstrating His glorious plan for His Son. (This provision reminds me a bit of Abraham and Isaac, on the mountain of testing.)

Father’s will and way, and the specifics therein, are all to bring Him glory that He deserves, by design. Well, what about us then? Where do we land within it all? We are invited to be humble participants. We are, by Father’s wonderful design, included in the plan entirely. We receive the reward of joining into the works of the Creator! Within this principle, we are given a glimpse of what Yeshua best personified. A humble Servant Whose literal existence was to bring honor and glory to His Father’s Great Name – Yahweh.

Are we so yielded? Are we so odedient? Father will provide, yes, but please hear this. Sometimes we will be the ones going to get the donkey and sometimes we’ll be the one who is watching his donkey be led away. No matter which side we’re on, Father gets the fame and honor when we too embrace His wonderful will, the best that we know how. Provision. What is Father orchestrating and inviting you to be a part of today, in order to bring *Him* great honor and fame?

This is now also in video form: PROVISION
