The Narrow Way: A Lonely Road

 

Walking the narrow way will surely cost you greatly. While the masses are celebrating things together, laughing and looking to be the most joyful that anyone can be, destruction awaits. The Word is absolutely full of warnings towards going the ways of the nations. I would even promote it to be one of the primary themes from cover to cover.

The thing that many people don’t seem to realize however is they (the ways of the nations) are many times pleasurable and even can be promoted as “godly.” One must walk in discernment and awareness to this deception. False gospels, man-made doctrines, religious traditions that are not biblical and holy days created to replace Father’s are at every turn. And most all of them are enticingly presented so that the masses will easily partake.

As I look around, I see many people enjoying many things. We have been warned however that even sin itself is pleasurable… for a season. May those of us who have literally come out, and daily pay the price of the ostracization that must follow, remain strong. I feel like I now daily redefine how narrow this walk really is. So few will find it. And most, upon finding it, will not choose to walk along this often quiet and lonely path. But Father is there. Fellowship with He and the Son are there. The wonderful blessing of others who are deliberately choosing to count the cost and come out from among them… they are there too.

For those who are considering truly coming out. You need to know that people that you love, and say that they love you, will not just no longer understand you like before, they won’t try to. Those who loved to talk to you about the Word, more than anything else, may just disappear. It’s a spiritual mystery, really. Don’t let anyone tell you that it’s easy today, friend. You will lose your family, your friends and many things that, on the surface, look wonderfully joyful. But, in the end, it will lead to destruction.

Pray for those under the sway of the “light-laced darkness” today. The arm of deception is not ugly and frightful. It is alluring and beautiful and many willingly walk within its ways. May we all have eyes to see what is truly light and what is darkness. Pray to be strong when you look about and see what seems to be freedom yet yields only bondage. Pray that people will continue to come out and seek truth, at all costs. Pray to endure well and to set our gaze on Father and His wonderful, covenantal Ways. Ways that oppose the ways of this world – both secular and religious. Bo Yeshua, bo. Come quickly. Selah.


Isaiah 52:10&11 Yahweh has bared His holy arm in the sight of all the nations, so that all the ends of the earth may see the salvation of our Elohim. Depart, depart, go out from there, do not touch what is unclean; Go out of the midst of her, purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of Yahweh.
