* A very small excerpt from the upcoming video, titled "Yahweh Most High... Our Saviour?", over at Path To Zion.
One should never elevate the Son above the Father in any way. Even the function and role of the Son was a subservient Savior, carrying out His Father’s work on His behalf. I think that it’s safe to say that the Savior Son did the apprentice work of His Savior Father. He was the primary agent and example of Father’s salvation. Yahweh has always been salvation, He made that very clear throughout history. Messiah’s willingness to obey His Father to the utmost postured Him to become the vehicle of salvation to the world. Redeeming the rebellion of First Adam by becoming the Last.
But surely the texts referencing Yahweh as Savior are surely all found in the OT, preceding Messiah, right? Nope. Jude concluded his small instruction with a great way to word it - Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless with great joy, to the only Elohim our Savior, through Yeshua Messiah our Master, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority before all time and now and forever. (Verses 24&25)
