An Invitation to Father's Table

As my family marks the last day of Unleavened Bread today, I’m again reminded of Father’s wonderful Ways. I recently shared about how incredible that it is that YHWH chose to reveal Himself as Father. He could have chosen any way to interact with humanity, but He chose a familial bond to demonstrate His great love for us.

The simplicity of a family table and a meal is such significant symbology. This is, of course, why we see the joy of a shared meal all throughout the Bible. Whether we look to the sacrificial system/priesthood, the children of Israel in the wilderness, the times that Messiah sat and ate with His closest students, many of His parables, the future Passover where Messiah Himself will again share a meal with His covenant Family – all of these show us the joy of Father’s plan. An invitation to feast with the Master.

This is just one of the endless shadows within the Feasts of YHWH. Just one drop in the vast ocean of why it’s abundantly clear that They remain for the covenant Believer today, as we all await the age to come. Few people are willing to stop whatever they’re doing in order to sit down for a wonderful meal that’s been prepared for them. Father’s Feasts are no different.

Do you willingly pause your plans and ways to show up for His Appointed Times? His wonderful table? I pray that you do, and if you don’t, please consider doing so. What a great joy it is – the incredible gift of a wonderful Father. Selah.
